By train

Swinton railway station is a short walk from the pub, on the Manchester to Wigan line via Bolton. Trains run regularly from Manchester Victoria, taking around 15 to 20 minutes. It's an easy, no-fuss way to get here without worrying about parking or a taxi home.

By bus

Several bus routes connect Swinton to Manchester city centre and run frequently throughout the day and into the evening. Check current times and routes on Transport for Greater Manchester's journey planner before you set off, since routes and timetables can change.
